60-Second Instant Loan Navigator
Five quick answers. You'll see the pathway that usually fits your business, which of your answers help or slow things down, the documents to line up and what realistic timing looks like — before you fill in a single form field.
What the Navigator actually checks
Lenders who can move quickly aren't guessing. They're matching a handful of facts about your business against what their product is built for. The Navigator does a simplified version of the same thing, so you can see the likely outcome before anyone runs a check or asks for a document.
| Your answer | Why it matters for speed |
|---|---|
| Amount | Sets which products are even in play. Property-secured loans start at $20k and run to $5m; unsecured options typically sit between $5k and $500k. |
| Turnover | Unsecured finance is sized on turnover and bank statements. An amount that's large next to your turnover takes more checking — or needs security. |
| Time in business | Bank data only tells a story once there's some history in it. Newer businesses often move faster with property behind the loan. |
| Security | Property opens larger amounts and the fastest possible settlement times, provided there's usable equity and the title is straightforward. |
| Purpose | Finance here is for business purposes only. Some purposes — ATO debt, refinancing — add a step or two, which the checklist accounts for. |
How to read your result
Each answer gets a green, amber or red signal. Green means that answer supports a quick, clean file. Amber means it's workable but usually adds a document or a conversation. Red means that answer is likely to rule out a pathway or slow it down noticeably — which is exactly what you want to know before you apply, not after.
The readiness level rolls those signals together: ready to move, close — a few things to line up, or needs work first. It isn't a credit score and it isn't a promise. It's a practical read on how smoothly your file is likely to run. If you'd like a person to look at it properly, start your enquiry here — it takes about as long as the Navigator did.
Why the timing is honest, not "instant"
The answer can be instant. The money depends on verification. Same-day funding for $20k to $250k is possible against property, and up to $5m is possible within 24–48 hours — but only once ID, bank data, the property title and any existing loans have been checked and the documents are signed. The timeline in your result lists those steps in order, so you can see which ones you control. Most delays come from a missing statement, a co-director who's travelling, or a payout figure that hasn't arrived — not from the lender.
Want to go deeper on a single signal? Read how turnover shapes an unsecured loan, how property speeds up a secured loan, or what still takes time and why. And if you'd like to tick off your paperwork item by item, the Speed Readiness Check does exactly that.
Ready when you are
If your result looks promising, the next move is the short enquiry form. There's no credit check when you first enquire, your details stay with one specialist instead of being circulated to a pile of lenders, and a real person calls you to talk through the pathway. Please answer the form as accurately as you answered the Navigator — it's what lets us line up the right option on the first call.
Navigator questions
Is the Navigator result an approval?
No. It's a readiness check based on five answers. It tells you which pathway usually fits a business like yours, what documents to line up and what realistic timing looks like. A lending specialist confirms what's actually possible once they've seen the details.
Does using the Navigator affect my credit file?
No. The Navigator runs entirely in your browser. It doesn't ask for your name or contact details and doesn't touch your credit file. There's also no credit check when you first enquire through the form.
Why does it ask about turnover and time in business?
Unsecured business finance is sized on turnover and bank statements, so the amount you need compared with what the business turns over is one of the biggest signals. Time in business matters because lenders want to see a trading pattern in the bank data. With property security, both matter less because the property carries more of the weight.
What if I don't own property?
Unsecured, cash-flow and line-of-credit options are available for trading businesses, typically from $5,000 to $500,000. Above that, or for newer businesses, property security is usually what makes a larger amount workable.
The result says 'needs work first'. Should I still enquire?
Often, yes. A red signal means that answer is likely to slow things down or rule out one pathway — not that there's no option at all. A specialist may see a route the Navigator can't, such as using a director's property or starting with a smaller amount.
Can I save or print my checklist?
Yes. Use the print button under your result to print it or save it as a PDF from your browser's print menu.
